When the next earthquake comes, will you, your business and your community be prepared? In response to the Ridgecrest Earthquake earlier this summer, ϴwill take a look at how our business members can be prepared. In recognition of earthquake preparedness month, join us and as we dive into risk mitigation. Where might you, your building or the community be lacking protection? How will a warning system either hinder or empower our community during the seconds before a major natural disaster? Together we will explore answers to these questions.

Wayne Kalayjian has 35 years of analytical expertise for complex capital improvement programs around the world. His hands-on experience includes earthquake engineering, construction, and oversight of projects within the energy, power, technology, transportation, water, higher-education, military, institutional, manufacturing, healthcare and gaming sectors. As a result, he has first-hand insights into why construction projects succeed, how they fail, lessons learned and powerful ways to translate complicated technical issues into plain English.
