Lunchtime Forum

Given the changing public health guidance in the Bay Area, which includes recommendations from both Santa Clara and San Francisco Counties, ϴis suspending its in-person public programming events. During this time, public programs will be postponed, canceled or converted into a webinar on an event-by-event basis. This event will be held as a webinar. For more information and a webinar link, please register below.

The Bay Area is on the cusp of new investments in urgently needed transit projects. These transformative projects will increase frequency, capacity, reliability and connectivity, yet many are megaprojects, which are notoriously challenging to deliver due to their size, complexity, multijurisdictional nature and at risk of cost overruns and delays. Hear why these projects are so unique and SPUR's recommendations to change the governance of project delivery to enable the Bay Area to build new transit more quickly and cost-effectively.
