Despite their name, many public spaces have been designed and stewarded to prevent certain types of behaviors, uses and even people. If we want our public spaces to be open and accessible for all people, we must rethink how we engage, design and maintain these places. With support from the Knight Foundation, join a panel of experts from across the country to explore the challenges and triumphs of creating truly equitable public space in our cities.
